APTS continues to expand its NDT Division following the launch of their Microwave NDT of non-metallic materials in February this year, which continues to gain serious traction within the Australian market.
Recent appointment, Godfrey Lewis, is highly regarded as a global industry expert and boasts extensive NDT and asset integrity inspection experience within the International Energy and Oil & Gas sectors. His credentials include appointments with Oceaneering Asset Integrity and Applus RTD. A background in Aeronautical Engineering and the Department of Defence, contribute to a unique skill set as Mr Lewis assumes the role of NDT Manager for the Queensland branch, joining a team of internationally recognised NDT professionals. He will oversee the rollout of the expansive NDT services and continue to develop business opportunities on the East Coast of Australia.
APTS is currently introducing an unseen level of non-metallic examination and testing services to the Australasian market and is reputed for employing and retaining only the very best team professionals to deliver a world-class service to its clients.
Other recent engagements of the APTS NDT Division include International expert Brian Gray, Microwave NDT Specialist, one of only three people to hold a Level 3 NDT Certification worldwide for Microwave Interferometry. Gray has relocated to Western Australia from his home in North America, where he has been instrumental in developing advanced inspection methodologies for non-metallic materials. His in-depth technical knowledge and on-site experience is an asset to the Company as APTS expands its scope of exclusive NDT services.
The APTS NDT team, including existing employees Dave Ryan and Pete Ryan, combines in excess of 75 years of NDT-specific experience from across the world with works completed in Australia, Singapore, Belgium, Africa, United Kingdom, UAE, USA, Canada, Egypt and Malaysia. The NDT team has extensively contributed towards large-scale projects on a global scale working alongside industry giants including Inpex, Saipem, Santos, Chevron, WoodsidePluto, UGL and Apache.
