Perth, Western Australia:
In an exemplary bid to lead the way forward for the resources industry in seeking recovery from the recent mining slump, APTS continues to identify new markets and growth opportunities, this week announcing the opening of a fully operational branch in New Plymouth, New Zealand.
The expansion was initiated as a response to service supply opportunities that were identified to fill a gap in current market offerings. APTS strive to ensure clients get the quality and reliability of service they are paying good money for, with experienced personnel providinga suite of specialised services. APTS already employ many highly skilled personnel from New Zealand, thus providing an opportunity for team members to relocate back to their families and bring their specialised skill sets back to benefit New Zealand industry.
APTS will deploy their full portfolio of services throughout New Zealand’s North and South islands, including advanced NDT services; pressure testing; chemical cleaning; PSV recertification and pipeline gauging, pigging and testing.
This recent development follows on from the APTS launch of an exclusive Microwave NDT technology, introducing a new level of non-metallic examination and testing services to the Oceania market, in Joint Venture with International innovators, Spectrum NDT. The NATA Accredited technology surpasses the limited methods currently employed in Australia and New Zealand, by utilising highly sensitive electromagnetic inspection techniques to confirm the integrity and quality of non-metallics including HDPE, Rubber, Fibreglass and Composite materials, delivering accurate inspection results for defects located on both the exterior and interior surfaces of non-metallic components.
This year has seen APTS team up with Australian Oil Services expert BioKem and Public Listed Company Shawcor (TSX:SCL-T), to promote a trend for experienced companies to align and set the benchmark for an unseen level of customer service and skilled labour deployed across the Oceania market. These recent strategic alliances are based on a shared synergy of delivering a world-class service to its clients by engaging industry experts, employing best practice methodologies and providing effective and practical solutions.
The alignment of these industry leaders will provide Australian and New Zealand operations with consolidated pre-commissioning services that allow for increased service flexibility, streamlined logistics and risk mitigation; reduced overheads; and the utilisation of leading equipment and resources.
“APTS is looking to strengthen all areas of its portfolio to make a difference across industries in the Oceania region. Teaming up with industry experts allows us to provide an extensive scope of services to the Australian and New Zealand markets without sacrificing resources or quality, allowing us to maintain a focus on delivering service excellence and expertise.” Comments APTS Executive Director and CEO, Mr Paul Newbound.
