8 September marks “R U OK?” day.
It’s a national day of action, dedicated to reminding everyone that any day is a good day to ask “Are You Ok?”, and to support those who might be struggling with life, anxiety, or depression.
Our offices around Australia hosted events to help raise awareness of the importance of mental health.
This year’s message is “Ask, R U OK? No qualifications needed”. You don’t need to be an expert to reach out – just a good friend and a great listener.
Use these four steps and have a conversation that could change a life:
